The Washies celebrated their 134th anniversary in style. A catered meal by PTG Catering, awards and dancing.

The awards were as follows:

President's Award - David Zinni for 16 years of leadership as President

Miles Stemple Award - Gerald "Mongo" Laskey

Fireman of the Year - Joe "Pudgie" Costello

Jr. Fireman of the Year - Christopher "HajiMash" Shanks

YEARS OF SERVICE AWARDS:

Rita Messmer - 5 Years                               William Pearson Jr - 10 years

Paul Hunsinger - 10 years                            Christina Pearson -10 years

Keith Major - 10 years                                 Faith Zinni - 10 years

Charles Primavera -10 years

Joseph Costello- 25 years

Gerald Laskey - 30 years                            Kimberly Costello -30 years

Frank Carlin - 35 years                               Jean Lukens - 30 years

Joseph Januzelli - 35 years

Service pins were awarded to all members who attained 15 or more years of service to the company

Service awards were given to the top 22 members who dedicated time in service to the company over the past year. The award was an embroidered duffle bag with the company patch and the members name on it

"Wiggi"awards were given as follows:

Chris Shanks -personal place setting for the biggest appetite

David Zinni - a paper bag of wind for those long speaches

Joe "Bounce"Wertz - Lifetime achievement - 3 wiggi awards -2 for the same thing but two separate years. Joe "Thunderflush" is his new name.

A good time was had by all.
